As well as supporting the work in Ghana, we have to stop and ask ourselves WHY? Why the inequalities that give rise to such poverty?
We can do something small but positive to try to address this. Do what you can as an individual to change unfair trading rules. Buy FAIRTRADE tea, coffee and chocolate – ask at your local supermarket if they haven’t got it in stock and make it a real consumer issue for them. Support the Trade Justice Campaign – contact CAFOD 020 7333 7900 for details or look at www.cafod.org.uk (see Links page)
Welcome to all in Selsdon Parish who have recently adopted Ahotokurom as their parish project and collected £500 at their first promotional weekend! Well done!
We thank you for your care and concern and hope that this small newsletter will help you to understand the very real difference that you can make.
